Source of Fear.

Updated on November 12, 2015

Walking down an empty lane,
i was jolted insane.

for few seconds,
i was out of my balance.

I could not for once,
rely on my common sense.

And all my senses,
were for once useless.

They were on war with themselves,
i could feel electric shocks all over my nerves.

This was when i heard,

It petrified a peaceful lane,
perverted it to a war zone.

A sense of acute fear came awkwardly,
from the most unlikely.

Fear isn't a natural instinct,
but a man made stint.

we are born fearless,
won't you agree less.

We are happy lot.
as kids, until we are taught.

Taught to be timid once,
we are, forever obedient.

By being timid,
we turn to hatred.

We scream thence,
causing ceaseless recurrence.

Isn't true roopa, we must know the source of fear to do something about it. I think the core of fear is loud screams. If we are polite we need not have to fear, fear.

      Thanks for visiting .

Fear is undoubtedly a man made stint in the man made society just to add obstacles in the carefree world of each n every childhood. Great piece of work sir.

Thank you sir. I also think people have to understand it and then there could be some change. But there are many socio economic problems that also cause these fears. But most are unaware of the reasons and consequence they are either suffering or are cause of the suffering for others.

Fear is an unknown 4 letter word to child.Biases and Boundries create this

emotion.Traumatic childhood creates permanence.Let everybody be Childlike and Free.

A relevant cause for social poetry!

It is a valid point, Hari. We are indeed born fearless. It is a learned reaction to outside stimuli.
