Space Age

Updated on December 5, 2014

When I looked through the window, into life,

I felt the warmth of my blood and how the flow was blistering,

I stared eagerly waiting to see my future, but my past always found a short cut in my line of sight,

Trapped in this gaze and left with a blur, pressed harder against the glass, but only to become more blinder and unsure,

It hurts now, more so than ever,

Lost in the present, with wings that fly in no direction,

Fixed on this window hoping for the better,

Dreaming of a different expression,

I guess, we will see,

It may not be clear, But there is always a reflection.

      Dear kljones86,

Great words! Sometimes,we people tend to live life in space. We often feel flying in no direction due to overthinking things that trouble us.

      Voted up and interesting.

      Have a good day,

      Sweetpikez

Sometimes our reflection in a mirror is a snap-shot into the unknown. Interesting read...

Ah, this is sometimes how I feel about life. Staring out the window trying to get a clear picture of what is to come. Very profound and written well!

You found the inner self and let it out Kelvin. That was interesting. I voted it up, shared and Tweeted it.
