Speaking Your Mind

Updated on February 23, 2012

Speaking Your Mind

By Tony DeLorger © 2011

Speak and you will be heard,

be silent and bare the consequence of regret.

Words unspoken, in time assimilate,

creating rifts between thought and action,

limiting the potentials of life.

It is often fortuitous to remain in silence,

hide behind thoughts without expression.

But to do so creates anomalies in thought,

creates unconscious attitudes that can hinder

and limit the acceptance of truth.

When we are authentic and speak our mind,

we experience the freedom of honesty,

and do not leave debris in our unconscious mind.

Unlimited thinking is then expressed,

without burden.

Do not fall for the trap of reproach,

it is always better to be heard for whom you are,

than stand in silence for whom you are not.

Honesty should never encumber the truth,

at any cost.
