Spinach in My Teeth

Updated on May 30, 2013

Hey there, Cat, my deer

I think thiers something you need to here

I do, I do, have spinach in my teeth!

There's some stuck in between, and probabyl underneath

I jsut can't seem to help myself

I bet neither can thee help thsyelf.

Becuase my fingers, they doo type too fast

Leaveing all that goo to last

Oh, yes, I could clean it up

That is, if I were sharp enough

But mintues have I only five

ANd too many distractions in my live

So, you'll just ahve to take my spinach

Maybe with a little grinage. :D

And just in case you want tips on how to avoid "spinach teeth" (no, that's not spinach in your teeth) visit this linke here: http://www.fitsugar.com/What-Causes-Spinach-Teeth-551249.

A bizzare song referencing spinach in teeth.

LOL...I've always done it! It just shows less on HubPages, unless I'm tired....FB, that's another story entirely. Couldn't help it. She wanted a Shan original and she's always giving me a hard time about it. haha

Thanks, whonu. Sometimes I wonder if I am the queen of typos. I often transpose letters, especially!

LOL, been there, done that! What kills me is when a friend notices such in one's teeth and does not bother to tell you!!! I would rather be told than to walk around all day with whatever in my teeth :)

This is a shanmarie original, no doubt!

Haha...thanks, Faith Reaper! It's not actually about spinach in my teeth, though...It became a code for typos and grammatical errors between Cat (cantuhearmescream) and I. It started as a joke about not telling her if she even had spinach in her teeth, as you say, in comparison to not point out if a friend has a typo. And it went from there. (Hence all the errors in the poem) LOL...

The summar mentions it's about typos, but maybe I should put that in front of the poem. . . or someone might think I just can't type or spell at all! haha

Shan!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm laughing so hard!!!! I haven't gotten a notification for this yet... I had to come looking! This is so funny, oh my goodness!!! I think you found the trick; EMBRACE ye SPINACH :D

...how did you find the video? Too funny, my clever little sister you!!! I'mve saving this, sending it, sharing it and returning!!! You are the Queen of the Spinach and I bow to you!!!

      Biggest Fan,

Cat, an avid eater of spinach.

I'd like to point out that you even have spinach in your teeth in your explanation of having spinach in your teeth :D

Don't mention it.... that's what friends are for ;-)

I was beginning to think you weren't going to find your little spinach treat! Haha

Bahahaha...I probably do! I actually had referencing typed wrong, too, but I decided to just fix that, as it really was just a typo.

You won't believe this...I went looking for images so I Googled "spinach in my teeth" and it tries to get me to choose "spinach in my teeth song". What? There's a song for that?! I had to go check it out. I was expecting some kid song like from Sponge Bob, not that strange little number. What's the moral?? Don't worry about spinach in your teeth - kiss with confidence! Bahahaha

I wonder how many people gloss over the summary and don't read the comments? I must seem completely uneducated. haha

This is hilarious! I don't know why I still haven't received word of its publication... but, I seem to always get everything late anymore.

You forgot a Y in summary, in your comment to Faith Reaper. But hey, on a positive note... I can't point out any spinach in the hub itself because they're meant to be there... what a plan! Gee, you suppose we could make a niche out of this and "intentionally" leave spinach in our teeth? Talk about a less stressful existence :D

Kiss with confidence, ha ha ha... why do I feel another 'inside joke' coming on :D ... poor other hubbers will never be able to follow what we're talking about :-)

Honestly, I flew by the summary once I realized I was late to the party... and obviously, the title had me floored :D ... but, if anyone thinks that your grammar and typos are that bad, on accident.... ha ha, you're in trouble! :D

Shannon 3 years ago from Texas

Yeah. . .the title. . .hahaha

Maybe your email sent it to the spam folder again?

You're right, it would be pretty sad if someone actually thought I did all that on purpose. :-p

Haha...now my son wants to know, "Why you laughing, Mama?" Well, son, I'm laughing at the notion of kisisng with confidence, spinach and all! LOL

I thought about the next time somebody uses "spinach in my teeth" as a search term. . . might just pull up this hub. Maybe I should enable ads on it. Ha! Or maybe I never disabled them. . .hmmm...usually do on the poetry and generally just leave on the ones more or less meant for Google.

My HP mail never goest into spam.... just outsider's emails, sometimes. It seems like I catch things in the feed an hour or better before it hits my email sometimes, lately. It's kind of frustrating. Your son asking why you're laughing... that's funny. Sometimes, I'll crack a huge corny smile or start laughing in front of my computer screen and think how stupid I'd look if someone were to walk in :D

Hey, that's true... you probably wrote for Google without ever realizing it. We may have even coined a new phrase! :D

Haha, yeah. ..we'll be right up there with the "spinach teeth" results. ;)

I often get questioned for big, stupid grins on my face while sitting at the computer or even after the fact, thinking about something someone said on while I was using the computer. It would be funny if I didn thave to explain myself all the time. It's usually something only I find amusing anyway, especially if it is one of those things that requires a kind of back story to even be amusing in the first place.

Well I must say that no one else is as 'exciting' as you Shan Marie and Cat when you both get together on these hub pages. You really should collaborate on a project because you both have fast, witty, intelligent minds - and could you do me a favor and check out FRANKIEONFIRE, thank you for that and have a tremendous day.

Hey spinach teeth! :D .... actually, I shouldn't say that, this time anyway; I don't see any spinach!

Oh, that Colin's a heck of a guy in't he? The clouds part and the sun shines down when he's 'roun'.

That whole laughing thing.... yeah, you might be forced to explain yourself... I offer it sometimes; "Hey... hey, I got sumpin' to tell ya!" ... I go on with some big elaborate story, laughing too hard to spit it out sometimes... and then, I get a blank stare! Lol... guess they had to be there :D

Haha! I just laugh to myself. No one around usually that shares even a small bit of my humor. But, I would rather laugh at things that maybe would seem to make me "slap happy" than some of the more vulgar things around these days. I will still laugh at the old classic TV shows and commedians.

Oh my goodness, me too!!! I actually think I was a weird kid... I'd watch um... Laurel and Hardy for hours, that's an extreme example, but I'd also watch the stuff that's on Nick at Nite back then too!

NOOOOOO... I think they do spell it like that... I think... I thunk? Anyway, know how some people say lite instead of light and nite instead of night? Well.... I'm not one of those people! :D

Oh my goodness yes... I grew up on TGIF... and I could probably sing some of the theme right now! :D

Oh, I wasn't commenting on the spelling of nite vs. night. In this case, I think you are right. I just thought it a bit amusing you brought it up. And I could sing a few also, but I'll spare you. haha

LOL! Pretty clever, Ms. Shan. I think I must be a bit dull today. I was going to write you a private email about all the typos!! LOL....Sometimes I miss the whole entire thing (pot full of spinach!)

Hey! Whatever happened to "Can't you hear me scream?" She came in like gang-busters and did quite a few hubs & seemed to be going places. Suddenly she was gone!!

LOL. Speaking of both spinach and emails, I just replied to one of yours and left it full of typos because I hate messing with corrections while using my phone.

As for Cat, I don't think she intended to stay gone. Life happened.
