Spirited Start (poem)

Updated on November 27, 2015

Can we stop - No

We will drop - So

Want to swap - Dough

What a sop – Oh

You’ve upped our pace – Si

It’s not a race – Plea

Look in our face – Gee

You’re a disgrace – Me

What are you up to - Five

When will we be through – Thrive

Let’s be friends anew – Strive

We hope you die too – Drive

We knew you’d do this next – Whut

You’re happy we are vexed – Rut

To share how we’ve been hexed – But

Our muscles are all flexed - Cut

Okay ladies barrel’s done

Let’s go stomp another one

Music only

Most interesting and I agree with Shauna. That episode certainly came to mind.

Quite unique and interesting when read aloud. Thanks for sharing.

This reminds me of an I Love Lucy episode where Lucy and Ethel get into it while stomping grapes in California.
