Spring Tribute(Haikuish approach)

Updated on April 24, 2013

Haiku

Winter's coat is shed,

Its whitened locks are all gone.

As warm sun greets dawn,

A warbler sings its happy song.

Flowers twirl about,

to breezes, giving a shout.

Announcing truth, lifts hearts,

Reminding each, we are a part.

Lifting heads in glee,

Tomorrow brighter to be.

Rains are sure to come,

As the Honey bees all hum.

Beautiful yet sad. SF is still struggling to get our bees back.

This is a nice poem. It expresses your thought well. However, it is not a haiku. I like to write haiku and this does not follow the haiku form.

Ah, yes, the throes of nature. All of these things are in my heart of hearts, and you captured it perfectly.
