Spring Is In The Air (limerick)

Updated on August 10, 2012

Each spring high school teachers will cry

As love fills the air they’ll share why

It’s not flowers’ bloom

Or birds sporting plume

But teens’ new perfume they’ll reply

Ain't that the truth! Y was at the store the other day and walked past a gaggle of teens and the mix of over powering perfumes almost killed me!

Mhatter, still as sweet as a rose and twice as clever.

LOL, this is way too funny and so true!!! It amazes me how much cologne and perfume kids use while going to school...I have volunteered in my kids schools for 12 years and the smell can be nauseating....lol

As a teacher I'll strongly attest to the utter accuracy of this great and funny limerick, Hatter! (The perfume can really be choking.) Thanks for sharing, and I'm sharing this as well.
