Spring's Symphony

Updated on February 19, 2012
Bella enjoying the scent of spring!
Bella enjoying the scent of spring!

Nature provided an ongoing symphony to be heard during my walk with Bella this morning.

The Woodpeckers mastered percussion, while the Cardinals singing a cappella were accompanied by a chorus of back-up-singers.

Robins, Blue Jays, and Red Winged Black birds danced in flight as their musical sonata echoed in the currents of the air.

An assembly of feathered musicians perched high in the canopies absent of foliage as colorful ornaments adorning branches of trees.

I hear their trumpeted announcement that spring is once again here as their sweet message graces the forest for all to welcome.

An imaginary ribbon carrying the “NEWS” intertwines amongst branches...Spring’s gift to us all has arrived.

Enchanting for the ears to absorb!

Magnificent for the eyes to behold!

Music created throughout the day for our senses to dance ... to touch!

I look to the sky twirling in awe, as Bella breathes in life veiled yet from her view.

The newness of life gifted by Nature, blessed by God is here to cycle through.

Great article! I love that nature holds so much beauty. More people should take the time to stop and smell the roses, hear the music, and take in all that is right in front of our eyes!

Thank you ImKarn23!!! I am an odd one...I prefer children, birds, bees and trees to the busyness of life. I finally gave in this past June and got a cell phone...my family wouldn't let me take a road trip with Bella till I caved in. I am such a simple-tin at heart, a defined Poly Anna, but I guess the world needs a few of me floating around.

My friend - I LOVE that you are so attuned that you heard that stunning (and free) symphony! Most people don't hear anything anymore other than the ringie-dingies of their i-Thingies! Love it - voted up and twatted!

We must be on the same spring energy wave length...Bella's nose is sure dancing in the air as of late. She just wants to sit in her wicker love seat and take it all in....I will have to check out your post to compare our thoughts.

Thank you so much as always for your kind words, and yes, Bella does look regal!!! She is my little princess!!! xoxo

OMG...Spring must be in the air especially considering I just published a similar article this morning. Hey, great minds do work alike. I enjoyed the words you used in expressing yourself and Bella looks so regal!
