Starcraft Books

Updated on June 16, 2011

Are you a starcraft fan who likes to read? You may be surprised to know that there is a substantial amount of literature out there on the Starcraft Universe! The most recent release is for Starcraft 2; Heaven's devils.

As you might have guessed from the cover, it is about Jim Raynor, your friendly neighborhood zerg ass kicking backwater marshall. Its a stand alone story but has some Tychus in it.

There is a hardcover version, a soft cover paper back, as well as a limited edition that is harder to find now.

I Mengsk was a good look into the background of Arcturus Mengsk History, as well as the background story of Valerian Mengsk, his son whom you'll meet near the end of the Sons of Liberty Campaign (Starcraft II Part 1 Terran missions)

The anthology is a good way to save money if you want to read the first three books of the starcraft 1 universe, since its $10 compared to $15 if you try to get them one by one. It is bigger and less portable.

Comics are also out there in the book stores although they may be called Graphic Novels in certain places and generally cover either Nova's journeys in the Ghost Academy, or pave the way for the release of Starcraft 2. You get to know more about Tosh too.
