Steps Along the Shoreline

Updated on March 5, 2017

Right, left, right, left.

One step followed by another.

Walking is quite the concept.

You walk backwards and you don’t know where you’re going.

Walk forwards and the world is at your fingertips.

If it hurts, don’t look back at your tracks.

Only if you learn from your pain shall you dare to look.

The past will only linger and bombard your mind with things you can’t fix.

The past can grasp you tight until it reaches corruption.

Onward and upward creates success.

Think of what happens when you walk along the beach.

Each step makes a print and then slowly deteriorates from the waves crashing down.

Footprints are like memories.

Where you step determines how long it lasts before disappearing.

On concrete nothing stays.

Along the beach there leaves a temporary imprint.

In the snow it sinks until another track covers it.

A directional step can take you far.

The wrong step can create a scar.

Day by day.

Breath by breath.

Step by step.

Walking along the beach is where you want to be.

Walking along the beach you have a choice.

A decision.

So walk along the beach.

Be confident looking forward

And don’t look back.
