Measures

Updated on May 17, 2017

The intelligence of a man is not measured by the things he know,

Rather it is measured by how much knowledge he was able to use.

The courage of man is not measured by the risk he had taken,

But by how much more risk he is still willing to take.

The tenacity of a man is not measured by how long he was able to hold on,

But by how many times he fought the thought of giving up.

The humility of a man is not measured by how much respect he earns from others,

Rather it is measured by how much respect he is able to give them.

A man's greatness is never measured by his success or failure,

Not even by his sanity or insanity, nor by his values, principles or beliefs;

A man's greatness is always measured by his ability to go on,

No matter how many times he succeed or fail.

No matter how much he achieve or lose,

No matter how many times he was praised or humiliated,

No matter what may come or may not come,

As long as he is willing to take a step forward;

THAT MAN IS GREAT.
