Stormy Days

Updated on December 11, 2012

Stormy days always
Remind me a little of us
Maybe I never really told you
Or could I have showed you it
Anything more than we could have
We never needed words
For most of those important things
But now that you are gone
Everyday seems longer or seems
Like I should be waiting for something
But realize I am waiting for you
To call or remind me
Not to call so late, or to get up early
Some days I miss you so much
And some days I forget to
But never a day passes
That I don't think of you
Especially on the stormy days
And the days without you
I hope somewhere
You do too

Thanx VM. I think most of us have had a loss that touched and tore our hearts up at times, or at least can relate. I feel lucky that I have my creative outlets and ways of expressing it when I need to. It makes it all worth it...for me that is how I feel, anyway. Thanx for reading. Keep on Hubbing. Blake4d

I feel your pain brother and I am sad for your loss. I to have lost a few close friends in my life and at times it feels very empty without them near. I have sweet memories to fall back on and that soothes me for a spell, but I never will forget them, never. Peace and blessings to you my scribe.
