Divine Realm of My Meditation: a Poem

Val is a life-long student of the psycho-philosophy of living and a devoted practitioner of many techniques that enhance personal evolution.

Deep I go away from my life story and myth

sinking into realm for which words don't exist

at first heavy like a gigantic monolith

then lighter than a feather or morning mist.

All sense of myself known so well

disperses like a cloud blocking the sun

replaced slowly by emergence of something hard to tell

but it gets recognized like an old show rerun.

It a kind of feels like home after a long trip

a heart-felt nostalgia for something long gone

an unutterable freedom from ego's grip

and something that's so unique for me alone.

For I could never share that intimate state

while these words are merely a clumsy try

but I need to tell you of something that great

outlandishly divine like that pie in the sky.

Some call it pure consciousness and I may agree

this body-less state almost ghostly by feel

it's much more godly than human it could be

but without a need for closed palms and to kneel.
