Strange Flower – The Movie (limerick)

Updated on February 4, 2016

The sound of a trumpet’s flat blare

As strange flower’s scent filled the air

And each tear was met

By gasps of regret

As noses shout get out of there

Some time I do feel like running out of the movies when someone let out a strange smell.

Hm. You've captured a moment in time. That's all it took. Brilliant metaphor in a stanza. My senses could imagine. In war and protest, ('gasps of regret') humanity rules. Glad I stopped by. Voted interesting.

Very cleverly done,' each tear was met by gasps of regret.'

The poor folks were sniffing for pleasure that resulting in pain. An assault on the senses. Nice....

I have not heard of the movie either but your words capture the essence of running away from teargas. ...goes well with the picture.

Teargas? I don't know the movie, in fact, I haven't heard anything about it. Sorry to be so ignorant on this one.
