Strangers/a poem

Updated on June 21, 2013

Two different strangers that met only by chance, they shared very little, only a forbidden dance.

No emotions involved only desire and passion, two opposite people with only one strong attraction.

One older, one younger, but neither cared, with the touch of a hand the longing was there.

Their eyes would meet, but no words were spoken, should the truth be found, their lives would be broken.

They shared only the night never the day, other than that they went separate ways,

Under cover of darkness they risked it all, for one moment of heat they risked it all.

I know you’ll find your calling and I’ll fade from your mind, but hope, and peace I hope you’ll find.
