Strings On My Guitar

Updated on July 29, 2011

On top of my house roof
I reach for my guitar…play this slow song…
Out loud I sang…my life and pain…

Although my heart still ache
But help sway as I sang…

“If there’s an angel…come down and save me…
My life has crushed…upon this pain…the pain I cannot bare..
Blood shed slowly…from my brain to my toe…An…gel…
If you are out there…come down and save me…An…gel….”

Slowly playing my guitar
On top of the roof

As the string of music echoes the night sky…

Watching the star light and moonlight
Reflecting the night …

The cold air breeze rushed in so instant...

And continue I sang…

“My life has gone through terrible flight, no longer I can fight…
Give up say, but my heart say no…Lord I don’t know why…An…gel…
Do you hear my voice cry…”

Continue strumming my guitar
As I looked up the sky…

Beautifully a star shoot across the sky…
I stop playing my guitar
And put it to the side…

I stood up and smiled…
And I know…

She heard me…
