My name is Stuart Tradent Realidad
I am eight-years-old
My papa teaches me lessons
And I’m good at doing what I am told

He tells me to be a good leader;
To serve and not to be served
But I visited his office and watched
As his subordinate cower under his word

He tells me to consider others’ feelings;
To never break their self-esteem
But I listened to my brother sob at night
After papa scold him in front of his team

He tells me to listen to others’ thoughts;
To let them freely spill what fills their cup
But mama thinks that she should work too
And I listened as papa tells her to shut up

He tells me to be righteous;
To be just at all times fit
But papa lost his watch, and I watched as yaya
Get kicked out before seeing my brother wearing it

I think papa is a respectable man;
Someone who’d never commit heinous crimes
He teaches me a lot in various ways;
Ways that also confuse me a lot at times

My name is Stuart Tradent Realidad
I am eight-years-old
My papa teaches me a lot of lessons
And gladly, I’m good at doing what I’m told
