Stumbling Poem

Updated on June 11, 2013

Stumbling

Couldn't find the truth

Even if I was looking

Through poisoned fire

Sheltered by courage

Lead through hell

And crimson twilight

Couldn't find a reason

Even if I was looking

Under dark sea

Strengthened by hope

Taken through thunder

And heavy rain

Couldn't find faith

Even if I was looking

Over painted sky

Calmed by God

Walked on water

Found by light

Couldn't find the right words

Even if I was looking

Tormented by determination

United by inspiration

Lost in my own heart

Walking through the valley

Stumbling

Very well written, thank you for sharing. I enjoy the use of repitition to keep the song alive with each new stanza. Jamie
