Success - What is it?

Updated on December 22, 2014

Ever since our childhood days our parents, our teachers and everyone around us tell us the story of a few successful people in our society. During your childhood have you ever wondered what success is ? Well many of us would think that success is just restricted to money, fame, popularity and other things of the similar kind but there cant be any particular words which can define success. Success has a different definition for each and every individual. Success can be said to be a feeling which comes when you succeeded in any of your goals be it small or big, good or bad. For some success at some point of time can be disturbing someone and for the other guy it can be in not getting disturbed. For some success can be money, fame, popularity and else whereas for the others it can be helping others.

Success is something which cant be measured its just like archiving what you want. Well it has always been believed that unlike other things come to you when you want it success is something that will come to you naturally as a result of the work you do to archive it. David Brinkley once said that a successful is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks others have thrown at him.Success in life is a matter not so much of talent or opportunity as of focus and perseverance.

Your life is just like a pot and you are the potter you are the one who can make your life good or bad, happy or said. Success is not by chance but by design, it is the gradual result of always striving to do better in life. Success comes after you overcome all challenges of your life. Opportunities should be used as learning experiences in life as failures are the stepping stone to success. Thomas Edison made the perfect bulb in his thousandth attempt but he never said that he failed 999 times while making the bulb but all he said was that he learnt 999 methods which cant be used to make a bulb. a life without challenges would be like going to school without lessons to learn. Challenges should be taken as the huddles that come on your track to archive success.

Each one of us are like diamonds inside the earth. if we do the right thing at the right time them we would come out as the same and we would be sold at high rates, but if the right things are not done at the right time then even the shinning expensive diamonds would turn into cheap graphite. Success is always accompanied with struggle and failure .Struggle is a part of every successful person we can see. Dhirubhai Ambani a very famous Indian entrepreneur started his life as a hawker and at one point of time this man was the richest person in Asia. Each one of us can be classified as a successful man in this world. Nothing is impossible it is just the question of using the right strategy.
