Such A Brat

Updated on October 7, 2015

No One But....

She should make the news

Always causing trouble

Just when we are trying to sleep

Please enough already

You race through the house like your tails on fire

Back and forth

Then again back and forth

Never a dull moment

You definitely have cat attitude

One minute your calm

Laying right beside me

Then you jump up in a seconds notice

Off to play

Scratching at the walls

I even caught you climbing the door frame

Quickly you hop on the kitchen counter

Then leap high up above

On to the kitchen cabinets

What are we suppose to do with you ?

With a loss of words

Love you more

You are our wonderful little ruckus maker

Fearless and invincible

By now we are both worn out

To tired to chase you

You win

Off to bed

With a pillow over my head

I tuck my feet In a heavy blanket

I am safe or so I think

My cat Sid has taken to spending around two hours turning this way and that in my lap just to warm up due to the cold night after he comes inside. In the meantime I'm trying to watch a video and sip some wine. Finally he decides enough is enough and find a corner of the bed to sleep on. After I go to sleep each time I get up to have some water or go to the bathroom he is up and begging for some food and getting underfoot. Then he must be petted and spoken to until he can settle down and finally I can go to sleep again. At least he no longer does what he did last year which was to sleep for a couple of hours on my hip. lol Sid sends sincere meows to Charlotte, he understands how it is.

annart I was sleeping beautifully then it happened. My cat was climbing on our bureau and knocking off things one by one. Then I get up to see what she wants. She climbs up on a chair besides me and falls asleep. As I write this my cat Charlotte is now so content and happy. While I am blurry eyed and groggy. She wanted to be patted and lots of attention. Well she got it. Have a wonderful morning and a day that makes you jump for joy.

You never can control cats; they have a will of their own and the house is theirs, not yours! I don't have one now but have had a few. Such characters!

Nell Rose Those lovable, adorable furry little friends. They just want us to pat them all day. Then not five minutes later they try to run away. Thank you for another good laugh. Have a great afternoon.

Jodah We have had two cats and that was a trip. Two cat carriers, two food bowls, two vet bills. Two times the cat pooh and two times the trouble.I do love them so much. They really make you smile on a rough day. I can't imagine four. You will have to do a hub on them. The Fantastic Four. Thank you for reading and sharing. Have a wonderful day.

I can relate to this Dream On. We have four cats. Life is never dull with them around.
