Sunset: Reminder of God's Care (A poem in Rictameter)
Scarlet and gold,
In bright crescendo swells;
Of God's great majesty it tells.
In breathless wonder we see it unfold:
Sign of His care through life's dark shades.
Grasp the mem'ry, while yet
The glory fades -
Sunset: Second Try
'Ere night glows bright,
Flames on a soothing sea:
And I pause, raising eyes to Thee:
Symbol of God's heart-peace falling on me.
Promise of His care through dark night,
His great love is the key;
He holds me tight:
