Survival Through Heartbreaks

Updated on December 16, 2017

Heartbreak and fall back

One, two, is that it, noo, wait, four, I've even lost count and my heart is still in pain

And this far we've come and you so heartless or to you, it's all some kind of game

Kept on hoping for better days and gave you the chance after another

But you take me through hell with all its fire and you don't bother

Tears never failed to leave it's place even when I was to rejoice

I starved when I could eat but just to see you enjoy

I gave up my ambitions to ensure you had proper rest

I wore tattered clothing to make sure you wore the best

Trekked with excuses of exercising while you drove in luxury

From virtually nothing I gave you the best including laundry

Give me this and I want that you never ceased to nag

I own this and I have that, to your pals, you wouldn't stop the brag

The person I knew who'd say please even before she'd sneeze

Now has a heart as the coldest winter breeze which makes me freeze

Just what happened would you tell me, just what happened

What changed or caused you to change out of a sudden

Where did the respect and loyalty go

Did it turn to dust for the wind to blow

The promises and oath for a life long together

Did you simply strike a match and set fire to them to put us asunder

Ripped my heart out and tore it apart

This mark and scars I will forever remember as you depart

There's little strength left in what remains of me

But I will be okay just as I was all the times you leave
