THE BEST OF SPRING

Updated on July 13, 2010

I can see butterflies dancing on exquisite flowers
and magpies looking for worms.
A delicate breeze blows in the trees
while the sky up above is a glorious azure blue.

Spring is the time of the year when we see
the arrival of newborn calves and lambs.
They struggle to stand  up when they're first born
but soon they manage to stand on their own.

How lovely and sunny it is this glorious day
as I watch the sailing boats on the lake.
I watch fledglings learning how to fly
as mum gives lessons  in the trees up high.
.
The flowers are colourful and fragrant too
and they glisten and shine with overnight dew.
It's so lovely sitting under the big gum tree
my hair is blown gently around from the breeze.

As the stars twinkle at us every moonlit night
they really are a magical  and dazzling sight.
We really should thank our Father in Heaven above
because he gives us  these things as a sign of his love.

Try and think cool, stay out of the heat too. I hear it's bad for the complexion of pretty young faces. BB xx
