The Trinity Walk
THE TRINITY WALK
I Woke Up This One Morning
And Walked Down My Street.
I Needed To Go To The Store.
I Live On A Cliff Of A High Hill.
Walking Down It You Seem To Glide,
Feeling Like Your On An Angels Wing.
But Walking Up The Hill Is A Straight
Up Climb.
It Was A Chilly Winter Day In Which,
The Winds Coldness Seemed To Hit
Me, In A Sharp Stinging Type Of Way.
And
Walking Up The Steep Hill
I Felt That I Was
Being Pushed About,
By The Bully Cold Wind.
Which Was Bitter Ice Cold.
And I Felt As Though I
Was In A Fighting Ring.
The Wind Caused It To,
Feel Like A Tough
Battle Walk.
I Got Home And Put
The Groceries Away,
And My Phone Rings.
In Which, A Neighbor
Whom Is In Bad Health.
Is In Desperate Need
Of Her Medicine From
The Pharmacy.
And I Inhale A Deep Breath
And I Feel A Bit Overwhelmed.
Thinking With Dread,
"Oh No Not That Cold Wind
And Dam Hill."
But She Needed My Help.
I Did Not Hesitate Facing
Facing That Brutal Cold
And That Once Again,
Battle Walk.
Got Her Medicine
And I Was At The
Bottom Of The Hill.
In Which Now It
Will Be Twice Today,
I Looked Up The
Steep Hill With Dread.
And I Asked Christ,
"Please Help Me Climb
Back Up This Steep
Hill And Harsh Winds,
With Strength."
Took The Needed Medicine
To My Neighbors Home.
And Got Back To
My House And Felt
So Tired And Exhausted.
And Sighed And Thought,
"It Is Done."
Sat Down On My Couch
And My Phone Rings.
I Answer It.
And It Is A Friend
Crying In Panic.
She Said, With A
Pleading Voice ,
"I Need Help, I Am
So Broke, In Which I
And The Children Are
Getting Hungry, And My
Cupboards Are So
So Empty."
I Replied Immediately
With No Hesitation,
"Hold On Tight, Please
Do Not Worry. I Will
Western Union You
The Money."
I Look Up To God
And Thought To Myself,
I Will Do This. And I
Will Call It.
" THE TRINITY WALK "
Convincing Myself That,
" I CAN DO IT "
I Can Weather This Storm
And Handle The Winds,
The Coldness And The
Hell Hill.
For The Third Time
Today, Walking Back
Down That Hill
Was A Breeze.
Even Though
The Weather
Elements Were
Very Harsh.
I Got The Western
Union Money Sent,
And Walked Toward
That Steep Hill.
In Which, I Just
Had To Torture
Myself.
Calling It Again,
The Hell Hill.
I Allowed It
For A Third Time,
The Hill Looked At
Me, In A Taunting
Manner.
And I Said,
Stop This You Fool.
Call This Hill The
" TRINITY WALK "
Hearing A Loving
Voice Say,
" You Can DO It,
I Am With You."
I Felt Arms Of Warmth
Around Me.
Covering My Entire
Body And Face,
Like A Heated Blanket.
I Soared Up The Hill
My Feet Seemed to
Never Touched The
Ground.
I Called My Friend
And Said,
"It Is Done.
The Trinity Walk."
Go Get Your Money
It Is There."
She Asked Me,
What Is The
Trinity Walk?
I Said, "It Is
The Christ Walk."
I LOOKED UP TO CHRIST AND SMILED
AND SAID, ' YOU NEVER LET ME DOWN.
THANK YOU, SWEET LORD. FOR HELPING
ME HELP OTHER."
I NOW CALL THE HILL EVERY TIME
I WALK UP AND DOWN IT.
" THE TRINITY WALK."

Interesting? Perhaps he can help with my poem. Let me know by email. Cheers
You got my email?
Probably Hub Pages. Keep the mind strong! A strong mind negates so many things!
Sweet piece. Selfless service expands the Heart. Who is giving whom? each soul is God Itself. Loving, informative and inspirational piece.
A good concept and well presented. This has invoked my memories of a hilly place where I did my college and in winters I had to go down for groceries in snow and used to come back on that steep climb.
Great poem and thank you for sharing.
