Chapter # 13

THE POOL SWIM

Before long all three Feezie brothers were first at the pool.  Already the boys were splashing around enjoying the cool water as the sun shone brightly.

The Feezie pool was round and above the ground.  The water around the sides of the pool was as high to their chest for most of the detectives give or take the height of each kid.  But when they stepped into the middle of the pool the pools bottom gradually went down causing the water to get higher on their bodies, and reached its highest height in the center of the pool.  In the center of the pool the water was over everyone’s head no matter how tall you were.

The pool was equipped with all the usual wonderful items to enjoy a fun swim.  There was a sturdy beautiful hand made wooden deck made by Mr. Feezie.  The deck had two round tables with colorful umbrellas.

The deck was large enough to have an area to store various floats like mini-rafts, circular inner tubes, beach balls, diving fun toys, and diving mask.

Maara and Lee were next to climb up to the pools deck.  They had not been as swift as the boys to get wet in the cool water.  The girls took their time first testing the water with their toes, and than finally walking in by the pools thick slanted white plastic ladder.  Each girl grabbed an inner tube to float on.

Maara and Lee were floating serenely on the far side of the pool as the Feezie brothers stayed cool mostly swimming under water with diving mask on.

Before long Cindy Lou showed up sporting the latest fashion in swim wear.  Cindy Lou had on a terry robe that matched her swimsuit and carrying “believe it or not” a matching towel to her suit and terry cover up.  Besides those items matching even more amazing was Cindy Lou actually had found a matching rectangle raft to complete her ensemble.

Cindy Lou took even more time to get into the pool than the other girls and that is because as I already told you “she is a real girly girl”.

When all Cindy Lou’s items were just perfectly set up, she eventually like the other gals ended up floating on her matching raft to sunbath.

Last but not least Jake showed up.  It did not take him very long at all to get in the pool and join the other boys with a divers mask.  All the boys loved entertaining themselves diving for various objects.

Everything was going smoothly as all were cooled by the clean glistening water.

The boys continued merrily entertaining themselves as they continuously refreshed bee-bopping in and out from under the water.

The girls were relaxed and blissful as they floated sun soaked and dangling their feet and arms in the water to keep cool.

Every thing was just perfect and apparently just too perfect because all of a sudden Jake decided to use his wise pesky wit to tease the girls!

All three girls were floating and dozing in the sun and were unsuspecting when Jake went underwater to playfully attack the girls dangling limbs like a shark strike.

The girls tried to ignore Jake after they chastised his pesky play, but next all the boys joined in rendering the girls no peace to float anymore.

The girls next were putting all the tubes and floats out of the pool, and being they were totally wet any way Lee and Maara started the whirlpool effect game.

Chapter # 14

THE WHIRLPOOL GAME

Incase you are wondering my wonderful reader peeps what the whirl pool game is like I will explain it to you.

The whirl pool game consist of simply walking around the edge of the pools water in the same direction as fast as you can continuously which creates a whirl pool currant, and depending on how many people participate and how fast they walk will determine how strong the whirl pool currant gets.

By the way my detective readers the whirlpool currant game is great exercise especially for legs.  So if you find yourself in a round pool you should try it!  Once you get the whirl pool going good you can discover all sorts of cool different things!

Luckily on this day all the detectives joined in the whirl pool game, causing the currant to get very strong and move very fast!

The water was rushing around almost making it effortless to walk through the water.  Everyone was laughing from excitement!  All the kids began racing each other to see how fast they could go!  They passed each other and razzed each other as they did so!

Sometimes one of the detectives would try and stay still in the currant being amazed how it swiftly carried their bodies away!  All the detectives were testing how swift the currant was.  They even tested it underwater, and in the middle of the pool!  With the pool currant going as fast as it was almost anything they tried was a new experience.

The detectives were having oodles of fun!  Giggling, laughing, having major tummy tickles, and that is when it happened!

A loud ringing of a phone!  The Barn Gang Detective Agency phone was ringing!  The agencies phone had not rang in almost a month, and now there was no way to miss that loud ringing and clanging from the speakers Goose had hooked up to the outside of the barn!

Yes!  There was a call coming in for the B&G Detective Agency!

All the detectives for a few seconds stood in the pool dumfounded as they kept floating in the remainder of a fading whirl pool currant.

All at once the detectives started to snap to reality, and head to get out of the pool!

Even though they loved having fun, all the detectives deep down were yearning for a case to work on.

Cindy Lou was first out, throwing on her matching terry cloth robe.  All the boys wrapped towels around their waist while Maara and Lee just flung their towels over their shoulders!

Next all the detectives practically flew off the deck of the pool racing into the barn in their bare wet feet.  They all climbed the stairs to the office so fast they had a hard time not to run each other over while scrambling up the steps.

Amazingly Cindy Lou still ended up being the first to reach the destination of the agency’s answering machine, however no one was far behind!

Breathing heavy and trying to catch their breathes dripping wet all the detectives were now gathered around anxiously anticipating Cindy Lou to press the answering machines play button.

Finally Cindy Lou’s pretty manicured nailed finger touched the play button, while all detective ears were perked to listen intently.

What they heard started their cooled blood to flow in an excited boil!
