There are moments when

I think way beyond,

Collecting boulders,

Cluttering my dreams,

Heavy heavy boulders,

Cluttering my dreams.

Integrity is a heavy rock.

God’s will, granite

The voices,

Irritating pebbles

Creating raucous in the echoing hallways

Leading to my soul.

So I breathe.

I don’t even pray.

It clutters as well,

As I hear myself rattling

On and on,

Praying for the impossible.

So I breathe.

I’m silent

I’m quiet.

Opening the door to my soul,

I see him.

There he is.

There he sits

And for how long?

Waiting for me to join him,

Literally to be come

With him.

He is young.

He is old.

Old beyond my own sixty five years.

Wise beyond

The boundaries of time

And the should be’s..

I tarry not a second more.

I join him

And dream.

Simple dreams.

The boulders,

The pebbles,

The complexities,

The preoccupations

All melt away.

I join him

To En join

Simple dreams.

For letting me use the photograph

Hello Karanda, who is always a day ahead of me.

How do you manage that? If we die at the same moment, will you get to whereever it is a day ahead of me?

Yes, Wayne keeps IN SPIRing me. I do believe in critical mass, and I believe it is what brought down the Berlin Wall. So my "little" piece may be a hub or a poem and if all of us give what we have to give, who knows what can happen!

      Happy Friday to you!

Ah Vern, such a way with words you have. I do so enjoy reading your poems and your hubs. I have been thanking Wayne Dyer for changing my life for many years and now I can thank him again for prompting you to share with us.

Nighthag, thanks for reading and commenting. I have been writing these poems almost daily since August some time. I heard Wayne Dyer talking about anonymously giving money to those in need, and I thought, well, I don't have any money to give, but I could give Free Love, "anonymously" to anyone who might read my poems and get some inspiration, some peace, some pleasure. I post a poem a day on facebook and recently, I started posting them here as well. So again thanks. The verses directly reflect my moment to moment lived existence in recent weeks and months.

      Again, thanks

I stopped by your profile page yesterday, and I am looking forward to reading your poetry. Peeked at a couple, but want to take the time to really slowly take them in. Appreciate your support of my hubs and will support yours as well. This is a wonderful community of writers and poets and I feel privileged to be a part of it.

Thanks for reading and commenting. I like the compliment!!
