TO HIS ARMS- A POEM

Updated on April 19, 2012

Sweet, by Jordan’s side

Flows the gushing brook of life

Atop the breezy lush vales

Ends dominion of pain and strife

Rosy skies and pleasant suns

For miles together, her land runs

Eden, kissed by peace and joy

Thy face radiates graceful abundance

As the sun sinks westwards

Sits my father, and I look homewards

With his staff and robes, strewn loose

Dear bliss, eternal, for lorn waywards

Finally, death’s rewarded me to His arms

Having survived life’s tempestuous storms
