Take me anywhere far and beyond...

Where are you?

Why can’t I find you?

Dear Sweetheart,

Did you leave our space and gone to another?

If you’re in another dimension, will you invite me to see you?

If I follow you, will thirsty kisses smother me all over?

Will you carry me into your dim lit room bidding the night adieu?

Oh wonderful city lights serenades the shadows in haze

Your arms and mine chained to clasp our bodies’ heat

Allowing the burning flow of love to make us daze

With the constellations above shifting beneath our feet.

My dear Sweetheart, should you want me to stay

I’d be the most lucky star, the one you can only reach

There’ll be no regrets, the moon shall witness on the twelfth day

Resentment gone, discontent gone, I no more doubt your speech.

So Sweetheart, take me anywhere far and beyond

I’ll go with you by foot or bear joy to fly with a broken wing

Your true love, your cares, your sweetness in me has dawned

You love more than me, I now owe you every thing.

Interesting, epigramman. If you know it's your mum, that's okay. She can have a glass of red wine and I think it is most important to help her. If she tries to communicate with you, you'll know the support she needs from her loved ones. Or if you have ever initiated in asking your mum, hopefully, you'll get results trying again if it had not worked before. Say a mass for her. She'll appreciate it.

I am so grateful that you share your stories. Take care now and I bet your cat is asleep.

..well I have an old saying - your eyes are the camera - when you think about it - and currently, and over the last year and a half - I am having ghost stories - my mum and dad are both passed on - and it's definitely my mum who is back - moving things around - like flower/plant pots, opening up windows, moving a water container and putting an empty beer bottle inside a planter which had been left on it side when I went to work and when I came home - the copper planter stand was on its right side up with the empty beer bottle in it -standing upright - a cat can't do all of that - and my mum and dad are the only other two people who have ever lived here. lake erie time 12:09am I embrace it - I even poured my mum a glass of red wine last night and left it out - she loved a glass or two of red wine back in the day

My HubPages friend from Lake Erie is here! Hi epigramman! Thank you for your warm comments. And my smile is up to my ears! I'm putting on my earphones to listen to Sinead (former priestess? or is she still?). I am swaying to her "This IS a Rebel Song".

Oh, do you see swans flying over the lakes too? I've witness this at one of my co-worker's place in the evening and the lake was shimmering with jewels from the bright moon shining right above. T'was an amazing sight I will never forget. I didn't have a camera that time, oh dear, but it happened too fast, so I can't really regret about it. He claimed that it's a common sight outside his terrace, wow.

...and yet another poetic hat that you wear so well - a hopeless romantic and these words sound so convincing in their emotional outpouring - that it may very well be based on a true life experience - and your lovely moon photograph reminds me of what I see every night over the lake (when there's a moon cycle and it's clear) ....even tonight I was watching the planes travel up there in the night sky passing each other - you see I live literally at the lake - 100 feet away - and 47 miles across from me - on a clear night you can see faraway lights - it's the USA or Erie, Penn.

lake erie time 11:39pm listening to Sinead O'Connor sing an all reggae album earlier tonight and it's wicked and Irie - just like you writing - your writing is always Irie!

Hi midget! There was no stopping when I found my young friend's pic on Facebook. I then asked for consent to use her pic for I have already a poem idea in my head swirling to come out. Glad it took her a matter of a difference in time zone (she's in the Philippines) to say yes. And my full moon photo was just taken 5 nights ago, just timing to contribute to the poem; sorry no stars that night though. Thank you for the "romantic" and "longing" feelings you found in this poem, I'm glad I am able to deliver these feelings through my writing. And sincerely thanking you too for voting and sharing! Yeah!!!

Hi teaches! Just like the others here on HP, it makes me really smile and happy to find you commenting on my hubs. Thanks a bunch for finding this poem beautiful. You know, I had my migraine when I was composing this and my vision was blurry, but I had thoughts in my head that needed to be shared. Have a beautiful day, teaches!

Hi Cris, the wine you were sipping must be Red? Red the colour of LOVE.

True love is not all perfect because we fall from our own mistakes and miscalculation at times of the other half who is true in love. But then true love again rises, pulling up the fallen towards him or her or to each other in a way if they came from a similar past, in every way to bring out the best, refraining from repeating of what were the failures from back then. Thank you Cris, as you found this poem while sipping your wine!

Thank you xstatic! Long distance relationships in many, they drown in loneliness, but what beautiful excitement and strong love they carry in each other once time will bring them back together again.

I'd like to think that it must have been a beautiful long-distance relationship you once had. If it were not xstatic, still that situation of 'love' is worth to be cherished in memory merely because of what was once shared as one in the past. Have a great day now!
