Welcome Sara

Die! Die! O my desires,

Die to this embroidery of world enchantments.

Come! Come! O fiery Lover of the Heart,

Heavy is this intricate web of shadows; my Soul weeps.

Burn! Burn! Burn all the cobwebs of my darkness-mind.

Let Your shimmering glow penetrate the blackness, this veil of soot.

My Heart is consumed with longing;

Throb and pulsate with the turbulence of waves.

Here in this bodily Temple, I lie aflame in my nakedness,

Smouldering in the agony of my yearning.

Lost in an unspeakable sorrow; my hope fades.

Enter! Enter! Love’s Garland of exquisite bewilderment!

Extinguishing the fire of my entanglements,

Let us traverse the Heavens, drunk with the celestial wine of all Your Lovers.

Yes, my Sweet. There are a lot of heat, vibrancy and strength in this one. One of my favourites. Hope it cloaks you like a warm coat or an umbrella. Hehe. Have a great week-end.

And this will certainly have me get through confronting the rain in order to go to work. Wonderful work, as always.

Yes, I felt that one. Recited it last night and people felt it too at the Poetry Cafe. All my gratitude, dear Brother.

      Well Bro.

First you are a good man and a good friend. Still, you do touch on an aspect which I worry about. I'm always trying to balance it, to avoid preaching, which for most, is our christian interpretation of sermons.

Spiritual poetry or aphorisms are designed to reach the Heart, they have no other purpose. That is why I told you that I don't always like going to Poetry Cafe but love the Sufi's. They understand my work.

The disciple exists to love God and serve man, and yet, because man himself comes from that Love, nothing should be pushed or forced, only offered. I am still working on the right balance. In the very first line of my poem, I used the word 'mind.' Then I changed it to desires, which is much more appropriate. Still, I know that the word 'mind' is lighter.

Again, the seeker is essentially writing for aspiring Souls, and he or she knows that only so many will be pleased.

Still that need for harmony; for equilibrium, is necessary and does exists. I am a servant, and you guys are my brothers and sisters. It is quite clear to me, so I can only hope that whatever I do, is tempered with loving kindness.

Thanks my friend, you've used the word before and I did notice. Still, I succeed a little in cloaking my poems and some call it 'romance,' hehe. It is a romance with the One.

Please feel free to continue to talk to me in a loving way. I would adjust as best I can. In Love and Light.

I hope you do not take offense, but your poetry has taken on the role of sermon. I read and I find myself thinking of the lessons I have learned and the lessons I have yet to learn and how everything is connected with love. Thank you. Your Friend Jamie.

      Thank you, Faith.

Much love to you and family. Appreciations for your kind sentiment.

Ruby, I do not think of romance, but yes, one can have a deep romance with God, I suppose. As always, much love to you. Is the meditation going well? Om Shanti!

Needless to say, such a beautiful and intense assemblage of words ascending right from the heart. You have great talent indeed.

      My pranams, my Brother Bill.

Your question is indeed a natural one. I write esoteric poetry. I can do any style, really. Yet I write for the God-seekers of tomorrow, those who will still find me in a thousand years and appreciate my work. You're one of those Bro. There are a few others but not many, it would seem.

The poem is still fresh; written perhaps minutes before your response. As always, my infinite gratitude.

Dipankar, my gratitude to your loving heart. Hari Om Tat Sat!!

Well where are all the comments? Maybe others are having trouble with HP like I have been all night long. Well I'm glad I made it, and this was well-worth the wait. You have a talent, my friend. I hope you continue to use it to bring beauty into this world.
