Samuel Malik Canty: the Word Bird. I am the author of Four Poetry Books, I understand my Purpose, and my words are my proof...

Blame Game

By now you should be tired of making excuses…

Tired of blaming others for your own weakness and insecurities…

Tired of running around in circles trying to live a life that only exists in your unprepared mind.

I understand the term dysfunctional, but you are carrying it to a new and higher level.

When I hear you blame them, blame this and blame that, I say to myself when are You going to start blaming you?

When are You going to take responsibility for your own inactions and take control of those self-induced distractions that keep you behind in life?

Those distractions that keep you pretending that “All Is Well" while your life has been a Living Hell.

When are you going to start Standing, instead of leaning on negativity for pretend strength?

When I see envy dripping out your lips for things you can obtain, it pains me because you still haven’t gotten rid of your Mental Chains.

Our Creator only gives us what we can handle.

Before you Blame Someone or Something for your inability to straighten Your Life, take a good look inside yourself if you really want help.

Look deeper inside of you for there lies a Truth with Proof.

Beware of the BLAME GAME it comes equipped with Mental Chains and you won't be the same...
