Tall

Updated on June 27, 2017

I went out on that limb,

Enticed by your beauty.

Your voice warm sunlight,

Blinding me fully.

There you left me alone,

In the autumn wind,

Unsure and unsteady,

Any moment to fall...

But somehow I made it,

Now I stand tall.

Heather, if you wish I will stand by your side as the friend you have dreamed of. You have been strong and indeed stand tall. I will stand and fall with you but never let you down. Trust is hard when one stands alone. Togetherness takes the pain out of a lifetime of aloneness. I will be here when you need me.
