Every day we live and breath
Still that is not enough
As people we search for meaning and purpose in our lives
I can't believe we are here on this earth just to live out our lives an die one day
That seems so selfish and self centered
When we look through history and see all the achievements man has made
Even though so many problems always seem to haunt each generation
Why can't we finally learn to live peacefully with other human beings ?
Is it greed or power that has to take control ?
To rule others and dominate this world
If we are not careful we can easily destroy the whole human race
Then we will have nothing and we will have to see our true fate
Where all the beauty in the world is destroyed
Because man could not find smart ways to help all mankind
Are we not smarter than animals that live and die to survive ?
Why do we not see the error in our ways ?
Make amends and praise
Haven't we hurt enough people and caused enough pain ?
We are acting like children and make the same mistakes over and over again
We will all lose and the game of life will finally come to an end
One big boom and the final cloud of doom

We are all misguided and life is no longer worth living
When we keep taking and forget how to turn things around

Looking at strangers and seeing desperate eyes
Begin talking and sharing
Reaching a middle ground where we both can be happy

It doesn't have to be do or die
A hand shake or real hello
Finding others who are so much like you
That are scared and not sure what to do
Peace is a word that can spread easily if it is practiced
Helping others and in return finding ourselves
To a world that isn't spiraling out of control
No a world that brings happiness and good fortune
To every living person
Man,woman or child
To look to the future with promise and excitement
For when we are gone
Our children can be proud and say
It was my parents who helped change the world
To make it the most beautiful world it is today
