Ten Prayers For People All Over The World
Ten Prayers You Could Say
By Safiq Ali Patel
In a world that is noisy, cruel and demanding no matter who you are and where in the world you live when you pray here are ten important points that you could pray for that would improve your life and the lives of people the world over.
1,Pray for world peace. Pray for peace in the nation you live in and for peace for people of all nations all over the world. Remember it is a noisy and demanding world that is often demanding and unrewarding. Peace is fantastic if you have it. So pray for peace on your own doorstep, peace around the world and most of all peace for your heart and mind and for peace in the hearts and minds of people the world over. And if you are wondering what peace is. It is the opposite of noise, aggression, hardship and turmoil. Peace is that natural state that we should all be capable of reaching. Peace is that state where all is quite enough for us to feel and enjoy stillness and abundant silence and love.
2, Pray for food the world. Food is a great thing to pray for. Many of us take for granted that when we go to our fridge or to our local market or supermarket that the food is there. But people all over the world face food shortages and even total hunger for days, weeks and months. Their food supply is disrupted by civil war, by cruel leaders and authoritarian personalities who block millions of people every day from getting to the food that they need to keep their hunger satisfied and their bodies well. It may be someone in a different country or it may be someone in your own neighbourhood who for some unjust and harsh reason does not have access to food. So pray for food that the lord god break down all obstacles to food so that people everywhere can easily access the food that they need.
3, Pray for water. Have gratitude if for water all you have to do is go to the tap somewhere near you. In many countries all over the world people are without running water. Some are without the hot water they need to bathe in. And all over the world there are people who do not have access to clean fresh water to drink. Too often for millions of people every day there is dirty water which if drunk or bathed in could poison and even kill them. Let’s not take for granted clean fresh water. Say thank you god for the clean fresh water I use every day and may there be clean fresh water for every person every day.
4, Pray for family and friends. All too often we take our family and friends for granted. Due to brutal regimes all over the world people are kept for ever knowing who their real family is to whom they were really born. Whether it is cruel governments or cruel religious leaders or cruel hard loveless personalities standing in their way, there are many people of many nations who are not allowed to know and be with their families and friends. So let us say thank you Lord for the family you have today and we pray for those for who walls of hate and division separate them from their loves ones.
5, Pray for health. Many of us do take our health for granted. Many of us if we become unwell or face serious diseases know that medical treatment is just a phone call or a visit to the doctors away. But for people in every country on earth there are conspirators who will not allow them to get the medical treatment they need. There are people whom have to endure painful medical conditions who for reasons unfair and unjust can not have access to a healthcare professional. Let us not take our health for granted and let us say thank you god for the health he delivers to us each day. And let us pray for the sick and the suffering that when they are blocked from medical care that they need but do not get due to cruel regimes and brutal neglectful personalities. Let us pray that god almighty will discretely attend with healing to the bedside of those in need.
6, Pray for prosperity not poverty. Prosperity is when there is enough money and enough of the goods that we all need and want. Not always luxury goods but those all important essentials. Poverty is where there is little or nothing of those all important essential resources. Not enough food, not enough water, not enough clothes and not enough money to buy any of these. Billions of people all over the world live lives entrenched in poverty and some endure entire lifetimes without the daily resources they so need. Let us pray for prosperity that there be more than enough of all resources needed by all people all over the world. Let us pray that god bring poverty to an absolute end.
7, Pray for justice. The world over, there are people who are wrongfully imprisoned for crimes that they did not commit. There are people whom have lost life and livelihood for no fair or just reason. There are people who are forced into slavery and labour whom deserve to be free of subjugation. There are people in the world whom are held in places they do not wish to be against their will. When you take the time to pray, pray for people who are the victims of injustices big and small all over the World. Pray that they may overcome injustice.
8, Pray for the freedom to pray. It is all too easy to take for granted that we are free to pray whenever we want. All over the world there are people whom are not free to pray. It may surprise you to learn that when some people stop to pray there is someone whom will harm them, persecute them and even injure and kill them for praying. Their are dictators and all in all bad people whom will encroach on people’s freedom and prevent and punish people for praying and block their right to say prayers. So when you take the time to pray say a prayer for people in all nations and all areas of the planet that they may be free to pray to a loving and good god whenever they so wish and whenever the need arises. Let us not for a minute take our right to prayer for granted. Let us pray hard and deeply that God protect and guard every person’s right to prayer and meaningful devotion to god.
9, Pray for the dead. One thing is certain from the very minute that we are born. That is that one day we too will die. Some people die of natural causes. Some die young and cheated of their lives. Some people lose their lives in unjust circumstances. Where-ever life is lost and however it is lost let us always pray for those whom are dead no matter how they died. Let us prayer from the goodness of our own hearts for the dead and know our hope that god will revive us from death and make us a new. Let us respect gods promise that no matter how our death comes to us and no matter how it is that people die, god has the power to bring us to life and to eternal life wiping death way from us forever.
10, Pray for all good prayer to be heard by almighty god. Don’t just pray but pray that good and powerful god hears our prayer and that he answers them. And remember when done praying to say Amen. That god will hear and answer all meaningful and well intended prayers always.
