That Sleek Satin Slumber.

Updated on October 14, 2012

A night so filled

with sleek satin slumber.

Those dreams flowing

temptations glowing.

Enticing

inviting

are those seductive stars

crying out for that night

of sleek satin slumbers

dipped in moonlit passion.

Magnetically divine

are those moonlit paths

flowing

through senses so accepting!!!

Drawing us nearer and nearer!!!!

Temptations at their utmost

drawing out each

innocent

heart.

So near to indulging in that night

of stolen passion.

Heartbeats racing!!!

Senses quivering!!!

Moonlit serenade

caress each indulging

moment!!!!

Moving

so much nearer

to that moment of

surrender.

That sleek satin slumber

so near to that awakening

that pounding temptation!!!

So much nearer

to those

pastures

so new

so deadly

but

so craved for!!!!

Source

As sudden as a flash of lightening

a pain of sharp realisation

seeps through

each wanton

each so deeply

craving

sense.

A sobering

of dark regret ;

that deep regret

for what could have been.

Discarded into oblivion

as a

brighter slither

of light shines through

in such a cruel

deep

sharp

accusation.

Here advances

that new dawn

of tomorrow.

That sleek satin slumber

crushed

by the birth

of a sobering

brand new day!!!

Shatters each dream;

each temptation

each enticement!!!

To awake in discontent

so knowing

that the deep temptation

of my sleek satin slumber

was

now

ERASED!!!!!!

From within

into

OBLIVION!!!!

Is it always correct to shatter temptations???!!!

Source

I hope you all enjoyed this hub, in a totally different style for me.

Have a great day.

Eddy.

So true bravewarrior ,you are so right and sometimes it is only with hindsight that we recognise some of these temptations for what they are.

We shouldn't feel bad ;we just learn an important lesson and move on.

      Havea wonderful weekend.

      Eddy.

Eddy, temptation is often what leads us to move forward and venture into the unknown. Without temptation, drive doesn't exist. We just need to recognize the many faces of temptation and make the right choice!

I really like this different style, Eddy. Your opening photo swirled in with such passionate color to intensify the emotional draw of temptation. Yes, resist it. It's beauty will only lead to deceit the next day. Voted way up.
