Where true love lands .......poetry

Updated on May 19, 2015

There's but divine innocence in the magic of a woman's
meaningful smile
You know the one ....the one that lights up her face
widening her laugh by a mile

That smile involves everything about her.... her laugh
her expression her beautiful pose
God I love to make a woman laugh
truly laugh I suppose

Oh but when she cry's I see images of another
woman long before his one
Yes the downfall of a man may be his mother
if a man has two hearts it's the other one

More than once I watched my mother cry and so became a
man who understands
That a mans love often hangs by a tread and falls
but a woman's is where true love lands

And yet where to go when a mans love is denied
a heart is broken and broken love often lands
But back once again to a woman
I suppose only love understands

A beautiful piece of art. It was truly a pleasure to read. The underlying truth is inescapable.

Ed-This is incredibly beautiful and sentimental. What a beautiful tribute to women. You write with such passion. Have a great day my friend.
