Almost as important as Batman himself, are his enemies, and among them there is a villain able to give you creeps: The Joker

I do not know if is his clown appearance or that he take as a joke his most cruel acts, but we love this character. So a few weeks ago I made an overview of the various actors who have starred as the Joker.

But now there is a more serious matter. A review of all the crimes that have made the Joker the archenemy of Batman. And we are not talking about stealing and killing; the Joker has no scruples when it comes to torture innocent and play with their minds to drive them crazy.

Now is the time to see what he is capable of... One of the worst (in a good way and also one of our favorites) fictional characters ... Why so serious?

* List in no particular Order.

1.- Injected himself with titan drug and poison the water from Arkham Asylum

In fact, when I started playing Batman Arkham Asylum I knew that something like this was going to happen. What maniac would resist injecting Bane serum on itself and become a mountain of muscle? If plans were not sufficiently crazy, Joker, also planned to poison the water supply of Gotham City.

2.- Poison Gotham City in Batman Movie

Now, everyone remembers Heath Ledger's Joker in the Dark Knight, but the truth is that Jack Nicholson also did a great job in the Batman Movie (Tim Burton's). His evil plan was to poison the whole city, but not with a particular product, but with the combination of chemicals that could be found in various beauty products. In the video game, Batman had to find combinations in a sort of fairly simple puzzle, but in the film, looked much more dangerous.

3.- Leave Barbara in a Weelchair and Kidnapped Jim Gordon in Batman: The Killing Joke.

Perhaps the favorite moment of many Joker´s fans, In "The Killing Joke" the clown decides to go to the home of Commissioner Gordon and shoots his daughter Barbara (aka Batgirl). As we learned later, The shots from the Joker's gun severed Barbara's spine and leaves her paralyzed from waist down.

To continue with "The Killing Joke", the Joker takes Jim Gordon as hostage (because shooting his second wife and daughter is not enough).

The Joker forced Gordon to ride a rolercoster at a 'Fun House', with giant photos of her daughter in pain. That's right, the Joker surely took them after shooting her...

For these and many other reasons, the Joker is one of the most respected villains, not only between the DC universe, but among readers of comics. Whether you're Marvel or DC, you always remove your hat when it comes to this sadic clown.

4.- Blows up a School!

The worst part is, that it was in the morning... While Joker was in battle with Maxie Zeus, who warns him that he will crush him like a bug, what Joker replies, "I will destroy you like a room full of school kids" at that moment Joker blows up a school...

5.- Free Cutton Candy for the Children

At some fair, the Joker makes one of it´s most heinous and inhuman crimes, he gave to the children free Cotton Candy... that was poisoned.

6.- Destroy Harvey Dent in The Dark Knight.

Perhaps Turning Harvey Dent into Two-Face (another classic villains that Batman faces) does not seem so bad. But in the film by Christopher Nolan, The Dark Knight, Dent is portrayed as the true hope of Gotham City: the legal version of what makes Batman each night. So Joker destroys the man and the hope of the city.

7.- Poisoned Glass Rain Over Gotham City

In "Batman Confidential # 11", The Joker gets an airship that explodes over Gotham. This vehicle has poisoned glass that makes people laugh as they die.

According to the comic, this attack kills "a large percentage of the city."

8.- He Got Rid of Monty

This version of the Joker is written by Brian Azzarello.

After The Joker was released from Arkham Asylum he went to celebrate with some goons at a club. Joker, Harley and Monty (a former Goon) go into a back room to "discuss" what has happened while the Joker was in prision, and some minutes later they threw Monty on the stage, skinned alive, collapsing to the floor...

9.- Sarah Essen Murder

Sarah is the second wife of Jim Gordon in " No Man 's Land " # 741 Joker kidnapped several babies in a hospital where she (the victim) was working , The horror happens when the joker launch one of these babies in the air and when Sarah catches the baby he shoots her in the head , the worst part comes when the babies crawl over her fresh blood and body.

10.- Made Superman Murder Lois Lane and his son.

The trigger for Injustice Gods Among Us is one of the most brilliant and twisted in which the Joker has participated.

The tragedy here begins begins because of the Joker, of course. As the villain was tired of losing again and again against Batman, he decided to go for something easier ... So he decides to break the Man of Steel.

The first thing he does is to murder Jimmy Olsen, a friend and colleague of Clark Kent. Then the Joker kidnaps Lois Lane and made her open heart surgery (while pregnant) in a submarine. It does this to place a pacemaker.

When Superman arrives, the Joker throws him Scarecrow's poison mixed with kryptonite . And you know where things are going ...

Instead of seeing his pregnant wife, Superman sees Doomsday. Completely intoxicated, Kal-El takes "Doomsday" to space to kill him for lack of oxygen. This is when the effect of gas over and Superman realizes that he just killed his wife and son.

As if that were not enough, at the time when Lois's heart stops, the pacemaker sends a signal to detonate a nuclear bomb in Metropolis, the city of Superman.

While Batman is interrogating the Joker, Superman arrives. Without much discussion (the truth is that there was no dialogue), The Man of Steel brutally kills the Joker as he laughed.

The act of Superman is known by everyone, which makes Superman take a path that can not return (you know, he gets sick of power and madness). Thus, the Joker shows that even when he dies he wins.

I like Joker, because he's such a good villian and that he's so hard to win against.
