The After All

Updated on June 19, 2016

After all the living

And all the giving

I have learned to do what’s best,

After all decisions and trying religions I am put to the test,

I no longer want for me,

After all in the world I see,

I want nothing in particular

Except for us to be happy.

After all the money and material things,

I truly no longer thirst,

Except for meeting our precious needs

And always putting you first.

It's Best To Live On Earth Than The Moon

My son was sad this year because we rentecly moved. However, just after a few days he has made new friends and is loving it. It also helps that he has an awesome teacher.

"I want nothing in particular But for us to be happy." Al, you're a hopeless romantic. Thanks for sharing your love expressions.

Lovely poem and what is better than revel in sheer humanity as this is the only point where we all meet equally without distinctions. And song sung by Al Jarreau is just fantastic. I enjoyed both, your beautiful poem and touching song. Thank you, word55.
