The Aftermath 911

A day in our history that will live on through those that experienced it, and the entire country lived it through TV. An attack unprecedented in our country, and of such horror that for a time it brought a mighty city and our country to it's knees. The pain that we all felt on that day, is something that we wish to NEVER have to experience again in our lifetime.

It was a day of horror that united a nation in a way that the terrorist never expected. We became united in a way that we could not have imagined, we became the United States Of America in the realest sense of the title. The pain was real and we were riveted by the images that we were seeing on our TV screens. We felt their pain as if it were ours, because it was, and we became united in the pain, horror and sorrow. This was something that COULD never happened to us! But it did and we felt it all through our being.

It's been 10 years and it was a time when we reached out to others, a time when we remember the God of Our fathers, a time we will NEVER FORGET!!!!! God has been so good to America and we all need to strive to be as kind to each other as we were then, knowing that it is what God would want and that it is the right thing to do.

On that day Life interrupted took on a whole new meaning, and our lives will never be the same. We mus strive daily to be vigilant and watchful. We must never forget the love we found that day and the lives that we lost. We are a strong people and we will always be strong in God, because we are his. Our LIVES WERE INTERRUPTED, but it will never stop us from being the wonderful Children of God and America!

This is such a significant anniversary. I think of my grandchildren who are learning about 911 in school. I'm sure that they cannot even imagine something so horrible.
