The Black Holocaust
The Black Holocaust
By Eddie C. McCloud
They say that the Nazis
Killed six million Jews
To those in the know
This is hardly news
But what about the lives
That my people lost?
No one ever mentions
The Black Holocaust
What happened to my people
Was no less of an atrocity
Than what happened to the Jews
Both were fueled by animosity
So where is our memorial?
I see not one museum
I think we’d have fared better
In the Roman coliseums
Everyone’s yelling saying
“We want reparations!”
You know we can’t expect that
From this racist nation
They say that they are sick
Of all our tedious whining
Yet come election time
For our votes they come pining
America, the great satan
Admit that you were wrong
Confess your father’s sins
Only then shall you be strong
Then perhaps we can go forward
Not forgetting those lives lost
By erecting a memorial
To The Black Holocaust
