The Burwell House Mysteries -Part 4

"Courtney, what just happened?" " No one else seems to see the glow that you and I are witnessing right now. I feel like our lives have touched something beyond time, like we are being led to something so big, so significant, that we will be looking back at this experience for years to come."

In a flash, every flat screen television set on all four walls, lit up with that same breath-taking, golden color. Ron, I exclaimed, this must be some kind of omen. We need to listen and practice what we've learned. We must focus our attention. Were being led Ron. At that, we both let go of our ego's and let the process take over. We had to trust and let this divine plan unfold.... So that is what we did. There it was, from every tv screen, a message being written right before our eyes, intended especially for us. This is what it read.........

80 Burwell Road, Minnetonka, MN. Please come, as the creek runs through it.

As fast as it appeared, it was gone.

Ron and I, drained spiritually and emotionally, opted for the routine, the mundane. "Courtney, I'll walk you to your dorm room." So much had happened that day, I wasn't going to complain. I think we we're both in that same surreal place. No words could explain what we'd experienced that night. Ron kissed my cheek and I watched his silhouette fade into the dark night.

I wanted, needed, to feel some sense of normalcy. I got to my dorm room and poured myself a hot soothing cup of green tea. I slipped on my favorite black satin gown and crawled into bed. I wrapped myself into my soft, comforting duvet and just held on. The local jazz station lulled me to sleep with a song from Kenny G.

This kind of reminds me of the movie Drew Barrymore was in when she was a little girl. I can't remember the name of it, but the TV spoke to her. Scary!
