The Cassette Tape Impersonator (limerick)

Updated on July 06, 2013

The first compact audio-cassette tape was first invented by Philips Company of Netherlands and was released in 1962. The cassette tape first appeared in stores in 1963 and became an absolute hit.

By the aid of cassette tape players, one can enjoy music anytime. And the best part is, we can use to record and listen both sides of this tape, sides A and B.

Even myself, I honestly admit that I’m crazy with cassette tapes before. I have these collections of recorded fairy tales stories and I’m always having fun listening to the reader, mimicking voices and changing tones of voice.

But anyway, here’s a funny poem for you:

She's lying sideway, facing the left side of her bed

Singing a love song dedicated to Ted
All her roommates just listen quietly
As she sings her song passionately
And now came a nurse bringing her med

She stopped singing unaware of who will see
Turned to the right side of bed; starts to sing again softly
The nurse then curious at her motion
And asked why she changed her position
"Haller!? Can't you see, it's already Side B!"

I don't need to just remember them! I can still play them, and the car stereo even takes care of switching frm the Side A to the Side B,; almost worth buying an old car for!
