...The Children of November...

Updated on November 10, 2011

The Children of November

Have much to remember

As they dance in the amber gold light

As their shadows grow long

And they sing out their song

Ashes, Ashes…We All Fall Down…

The Children of November

Never fail to remember

The words of the songs that they love

As they skip past the graves

Of both angels and slaves

While their ghostly spirits live on

The Children of November

Always hate to remember

The words that stuck in their sides

The echoes of pain

The endless cold rain

And the corridors of memories inside

The Children of November

Can’t seem to remember

Much about everyday life

They instead cling to the notion

Of the limitless ambivalent ocean

That human emotion both destroys and provides

    Nefarious_Misery,

I wrote this piece on the crux of thought between the love of cemeteries and the well known attributes of a Scorpio, which very much linger around the subjects of death, rebirth, and regeneration. It was a pleasantly methodical piece woven on an particularly dim morning :) THANK YOU!!!

Very interesting and ominous piece. Not quite sure I got the point of it, but I liked it nonetheless.

Voted it up! Really liked the rhythm of it. And the message ties in well with the seasons of the earth and the seasons of life.
