The Chirping Breeze
If I Could Not See And Only Hear
A beautiful breeze across my forehead
The traveled across my eye lids, nose and cheeks
Starting on my right side working to my left
A light rustle of leaves and then soft chirping sounds
The wind chimes slowly clinging together
As if they were two lovers who just met
Now silent as the coolness intensifies
A sudden bang of thunder off in a distance
Lifted my body up to the edge of my seat
Here I wait
Anticipating the next boom
It is neither dark or nor light
The sizzling sound of rain hitting the ground
Followed by a crackling
If I didn't know any better
I would think it was a fire burning
