The Collision of the Suns
Black holes begin to open
Blurring stars into lines
Space and time begin to warp
Confusing stable minds
Planets, stars, and moons erased
in intergalactic war.
The universe sits back and laughs,
begging us for more.
Their world is crumbling at their feet,
to their genuine dismay.
Explosions echoing in the skies
Eradication underway.
Stop the track. Freeze the frame. Let it all be still.
A picture of young love sits on the dusty windowsill
The weather outside is frightfully
disrupting third rock from none
Yet within delightful fire’s range
no destruction can be done
Their oxygen has been consumed,
leaving none left for their lungs
But their hearts are unaffected by
the collision of the suns
