The Coup Of Letting Go
Sometimes things in life are not supposed to stay in spite of being the best things of your life. Sometimes you need to learn to let it go to achieve the next best thing for your life.
We all work for happiness and to achieve it we travel distance near and far for the search of happiness and sometimes it took life time to achieve it. Yet some went home without achieving it.
“The most important thing is to enjoy your life—to be happy—it's all that matters.”
― Audrey Hepburn
To achieve it some chased their dream and still ended up without any content. Some fought for their love but helplessly failed; some just live free but still unfulfilled, and some even sacrificed their own lives but died unhappy.
“Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.”
Of course there are those who are lucky enough to have found what they were looking for, fortunate enough to experience the luxury of life and be victors of life challenges. They are those that appear to have the perfect lives and those who always wore the perfect smiles.
“Being happy doesn't mean you're perfect. It just means you've decided to look beyond the imperfections.”
― K.B Indiana
Still, the irony of life comes in when this accomplished happiness becomes not enough. Men are never contented. They always crave for things they do not have. But it actually is just enough to maintain balance. Even the most perfect relationship needs breaking up when both are hurting too much. Even the most figurative lifestyle needs ending when it's for the best of you. Even you’re most precious possession needs giving up when it'll make others happier.
“Happiness is not something ready-made. It comes from your own actions.”
― Dalai Lama XIV
We can never have the best of both worlds. Sometimes, letting go is an option and when you let go, journey doesn't end. It’s actually a signal, for hope and availability. Men will only stop searching when he found exactly what he is looking for, and happiness is one of those that take a lifetime of figuring out and the only thing enables us to do this continuously is to make ourselves available. We have to give space, we have to take chances. We have to let it go.
“The greatest step towards a life of simplicity is to learn to let go.”
― Steve Maraboli,
