The Crystal Skull and its Legacy
The Mystery of the sea
Under a yellowing sky, over the ocean, to lie,
a pirate ship does sail,
The captain on board, was known to hoard,
a treasure, in the tale.
Skull master, in name, is his fame,
and his bad reputation, was so known,
He traveled wide seas, carried by the breeze,
and wherever the wind has blown.
On a trip to distant and foreign shores,
was discovered a crystal skull, so fine,
Kept in a chest, away and from the rest,
where none could see its shine.
In his worry and with care, the captain to swear,
then decided to bury his prize,
where alligators thrive and in a swamp, so alive,
the crystal orb, there, it still lies.
A guardian of a sort, a queen of a court,
watched over this treasure then,
"Mamma Mud", her name, now in the game,
with a heart, none there to win.
In two-hundred years, as the listener hears,
that skull was moved, in the night,
A new home to find, it was buried, in kind,
by a garden, and to seem so right.
Ancient stories of old, about rare gold,
of this tale, could never compare,
In a book it's told, this account, so bold,
and for all then, who would, then share.
Great powers possessed, as are many blessed,
by the skull's spirit, that it did give.
All fine values displayed, and the part it played,
an influence in the way, all did live.
A legacy of light, with a future that's bright,
the message, was well given, in this tale,
All who do read, can't help but succeed,
to be enthralled and placed under its spell.
