The Day When Bobby Believed.

Updated on June 19, 2013
Source

A poor little boy with no name and so alone;so forlorn;always so sad;since the day he was born.

He couldn't even smile; his face and his thought so strange.

He had not a single friend;as the local children called him names !!

"Orphan boy you are so daft

Sail away to sea on a sinking raft "!!!

"Your clothes in tatters and you smell

Go and have a wash in the old well!!"

He didn't even have a name !!!He also had no parents and was a child so sweet and never ever bad !!

He felt so small ,humble and hid away from one and all.

He only came out for food when he felt protected by the midnight shadows.

In the midnight shady light he looks in darted movements at his reflection in the glistening nearby pond.

In robotic movements he looked and once again looked away with that sadness which was so deep in his heart !!

He only saw a strange looking boy look right back at him !!

He didn't see his beautiful brown eyes ;he only saw daft tears.

He didn't see a heart so strong; he only saw a strange being .

His emotions once again in a muddle. One night in a dream an enchanting Queen known as

Mother Nature appeared and said so tenderly with a voice of sweet honey.

The boy as always made to run away but something in her voice made him stop and slowly he sat down by her side to listen to what she had to say.

So gently so tenderly she began.....................................

When day is dark

And your spirit so low

Where's the guiding light

To show you where to go.

x

Your emotions just move

With one massive leap

From way up high

To low down deep.

x

You fought you way along

To win in the end.

That guiding light

Just around the bend.

x

When you finally step

Out into the light.

What a wondrous view

So warm and bright.

x

You will have changed

On your journey along.

The brand new you

Will surely be strong.

x

With this new strength

Find your dream.

And down on you

The light will beam.

"Now my dear sweet child return to your bed." says Mother Nature so tenderly.

"In the morning sunshine you will return to take a look at yourself in the wondrous waters of life."

The morning dawn's fingers arose and the little boy cautiously walked to the pool called; The Magic Waters of Life.

All the village children were out playing but everyone stood in shock with mouths open wide while he so slowly looked at his reflection.

"What was this?"

Looking back at him was a beautiful little boy so happy;the warmth so apparent !!

All the village children gathered round him .

Everyone loved him and he could not believe what had just happened.

He took a hard long at himself and by his side appeared Mother Nature once again.

She hugged him to her so tenderlyand said :-

" You are still the same boy as you were before but there is one great difference because this morning you came out with a belief in yourself."

"Before you had no self belief and that is what you were telling the world."

"You made up your mind that everyone disliked you without giving them a chance."

"Carry on with your new life my dear sweet Bobby;yes this is your name

"Sweet sweet Bobby!!"

Source

From this day on if we listen very very carefully we hear from Bobby's village:-

"Coming out to play Bobby!!"

"Do you want to play in my team Bobby?"

Then we see sat watching from the Mountains of Hope magical Mother Nature sat looking with a warmth and deep deep love for all around.

She tells us all:-

"Do you believe in yourself?"

"Is a lack of self belief holding you back in life ?"

"Or maybe you are a little conceited in your ways and then this will also keep friends away!"

In life we have to be beautiful from inside and out !!

Words we should all remember.

Lots of love from my little corner of Wales and also to the many Bobby's in this world.

Eddy.

Eddy...i am struck dumb! UNbelievably moving, touching, raw, beautiful...

if only every sad and lonely child with no self esteem could have a little face time with 'Mother Nature'!! How many wasted lives might be saved? How much self-confidence might be built?

What a beautiful world it could be...

Again, a masterpiece which i will share wherever i can - starting on my fb page...

Eddy, I just love the message in this story; it touches my own belief. You must believe in yourself and love yourself in order to believe and love others. When you achieve that, it will come back to you tenfold.

I loved how this one ended and was so happy for little Bobby. Your moral here is true to believe in oneself and this would make a great children's story. Hope you are having a great day and have of course voted up and shared, too!!
