The Dog And The Whale Tale

Updated on April 3, 2011

The story I shall tell you today is about the dog and the whale tale.

The dog and the whale lived in the sky!

And everyday and every night they ate between them a cherry pie.

The cherry pies were very tasty!

The outer layering of the pie tasty pastry!

But weirdly the cherry pie did not have any cherries in it!

But all they could do was eat cherry pies and sit!

Until one day all of the cherry pies ran out.

The whale got very angry and let chocolate come out of his spout.

The dog just sat there and barked his bark.

And the clouds in the sky said this is a funny lark.

But every story has a happy ending

The clouds let the dog and the whale share their cherry pies and to this day they are still lending!

The idea for this poem came to me out of the blue.I had been looking at at some really funny poems written by various hubbers in hubpages and got inspired to come up with one myself.

This is my first of this kind of poem and I hope it will not be my last. This is a peek inside the mind of Writer of Man.
