The Earth Shall Spin ( a poem of inspiration)
Not to matter, or difference of our human kind,
We have left all our care and works far behind.
No matter the state of air now left to breathe,
the water is ruined, and with no fresh to leave.
Whether fair or wrong, those choices made,
Their depth or breadth, as they all are laid.
The Earth shall spin, and so to revolve about,
Despite the attempts, or of our loudest shout.
The oceans will remain, so azure and green,
The sky will be blue, bathed in light, so keen.
The earthen sod will remain upon the sphere,
Just a reflection of a people's time spent here.
Our time is so fragile, and every day, to count,
Those wasted in greed, wrongs, begin to mount.
Burning the fuels that bring about our demise,
The destruction left behind, that's ours to devise,
Man's worst enemy seems to be his own kind,
The good and the wisest, furthest from mind.
Tomorrow will come, as life may be sustained,
Yet, waste and the greed must all be restrained.
Mother Earth was given life by the Father above,
All creature's preservation, a reflection of his love.
Each living thing in the Universe, born... to begin,
As every planet and its star, in the heavens do spin.
