The Essence of us all

Updated on August 11, 2013
The amber light
The amber light
Blank slate of the Universe
Blank slate of the Universe
Explosion of lights in the Universe
Explosion of lights in the Universe
Life is given from the soils
Life is given from the soils
Our God's treasures before us to see.
Our God's treasures before us to see.
The essence of all life
The essence of all life

Essence of Creation

In the beginning was the light, an amber beacon burning in the night.

Oxygen, heat, and a flammable source, as nature then took its course.

As dominoes cascade in flight, more fire was spawned, all burning bright.

They formed the stars with halos round, all was done without a sound.

The universe with its galaxies spread, meteors soaring, to a crater's bed,

A canvas of colors in each planet made, without a pen or carving blade.

Then over time as all must do, fine creatures stirred, with their curfew.

The meek and great to swim and roam, earthly realms, to call their home.

As we, called humans, till the soil, entranced with growth, found by our toil.

We lift our heads toward a darkened sky, see a moon, the geese that fly.

Wandering thoughts waft on errant winds, breezes make broad limbs to bend.

The meaning of life and how it all began, reasons many, as the desert's sands.

Our awesome God, his power in the light, all before his hearing, his sight,

All he does for each in its turn, as the suns give life, in the heavens to burn,

There by celestial sights to please, a gifting of free spirits, their souls to release.

Throughout all time and beyond is laid, beautiful worlds, His treasures are made.

Thank you my friend. I meant it in the essence of the Creator and that we are created without denial of our God.

      Whonu,

I really enjoyed the choice of photos for this article. wow!

they really are beautiful and the poem spoke volumes.

I wonder how you were able to capture the mood of what creation really is about. Were the photos taken first or did you write the beautiful poem first?

I had to share, tweet and Up +++.

Thank you for the read. :-)

      Shalom

Perfection at its best. As I read each word, I smiled and nodded, and my smile is for you, as well. Awesome and up, and f I could, I would shake your hand and give you a hug for the song of natural beauty from the cosmos.

What beautiful photos to enhance the thoughts written within this poetry. I love the way you refer to the questions about the universerse being as many as the sand. Still, the creator has answers for each one. Lovely poem!
